What to compare before you choose
Start with a branch you can reach regularly
Compare the actual branch rather than only the gym brand. Visit at the time you would normally train to see the equipment, changing facilities, class availability and how busy it gets.
Membership, day passes and personal training
Request the full membership price and contract terms. Ask whether classes, joining fees, personal training, lockers and access to other branches cost extra. Confirm any freeze or cancellation arrangements in writing.
Match the facilities to your routine
Check the equipment and class timetable you will use. Hotel fitness centres may restrict access to guests or separate memberships; confirm access before travelling. Ask staff about orientation and accessible facilities.
Frequently asked questions

Can I try a gym before joining?
Ask the chosen branch whether it offers a tour, trial or paid day pass. Availability and conditions vary.
Does a membership include every branch?
